This fully washed coffee comes from the Tarrazú region, which is located in the south of the capital San José and is one of the most famous coffee regions in Costa Rica. At altitudes between 1.200 and 1.800 masl, the coffee in this region grows on soils covered with volcanic ash and benefits from a spring-like climate, which is favored by the proximity to the equator and the Pacific: there are only dry and rainy seasons, but no cold or hot periods during the year. This favors the growth of high-quality coffees.
