KENYA

GATHUGU | AA TOP

Coffee is grown in almost all parts of Kenya, especially in the region next to Mount Kenya, which is with its 5.199m the second largest mountain in Africa. The Gathugu washing station was founded in 1974 by the Mugaga Society and is located in Nyeri County, on the foothills of Mount Kenya. From the washing station one can see the famous elephant migration route which connects Aberdare national park and Mount Kenya Forest.
