This coffee comes from Lituru in the district of Mbinga, which is located at about 1500m in the southwest of Tanzania. In Mbinga, the rainy season is warm, humid and cloudy and the dry season is pleasant, windy and mostly clear. The cooperative works with 905 farmers, each with a cultivated area of about 1 - 5 hectares and besides coffee, they also grow other crops such as maize, pine, tobacco and cashew nuts.
