Our Uganda Gorilla Drugar comes from Touton Uganda, located in the Kasese district, surrounded by the farmers who supply them with coffee. Kasese lies at the foot of the Rwenzori Mountains, between Rwenzori National Park, Kibale National Park, and Queen Elizabeth National Park. Touton Uganda offers a range of services designed to improve coffee households' productivity, profitability, and livelihood. In 2020, Touton Uganda Limited started their RFA (Rainforest Alliance) project and has already reached a total of 3,229 certified farmers in five different areas of the region between 1.200 and 1.800m above sea level which are producing together 1.000mt Drugar within two harvests. This region has the advantage of having two harvests, the main crop from August to November and the Fly Crop from March to May. This coffee comes from the main crop.
