SAN IGNACIO | GRADE 1 | DECAF (CO2)

The Aprocassi Cooperative was founded in 2000 and is located in the hilly Cajamarca region close to the border with Ecuador. The cooperative was established by the merger of local farmers, who campaign for fair trade and adequate compensation. Today, 505 farmers from the Cajamarca region belong to the Aprocassi Cooperative. Our Peru San Ignacio is grown on seven smaller plantations at altitudes ranging from 1200m to 2000m and carefully hand picked. The ripe cherries are processed at surrounding washing stations.
