This organic certified coffee comes from the cooperative Casa Común which was founded in 2015 and has 3.141 farmers members. The growing area represents more than 5.500 hectares in production. Comalapa is located in the border region of Chiapas, surrounded by the Sierra Madre de Chiapas, which gives this region a diverse set of landscapes and elevations. The region has a warm subhumid climate with rains during summertime, an average temperature between 26 and 28°C and an annual rainfall between 2.000 and 1.000 mm.
