SUNHERI | PLANTATION AA

The Chikmagalur district is part of the Bababudangiri region, which is said to be the birthplace of Indian coffee cultivation. The first coffee seeds were brought into the country around 1600 by Baba Budan, who smuggled them out of Yemen during his pilgrimage to Mecca. Most coffee in this region is produced by small farmers. Beans from different plantations are selected based on their size and quality to make up our Sunheri Plantation AA.
