This coffee comes from San Andres in the Lempira region. This region is very famous for its quality and is always at the top of Cup of Excellence. The Sosual farm is located in the Congolon Nature Reserve at an altitude of 1,650 meters above sea level near the border with El Salvador. The climate is influenced by the Pacific and creates an ideal microclimate for the production of specialty coffee. At Sosual, a selective harvest is carried out by choosing only the ripe cherries, fermentation occurs naturally in piles where the cherries remain for 36 hours. Drying is carried out entirely by sun exposure for up to 8 days.
