Bethel Estate was founded in 1950 by European immigrants. In the 1970s, the farm became the property of local coffee farmer Hilario Acosta. The Marcala region is famous for its high-quality coffee and was the first protected coffee brand in the country. The balanced climate and fertile soils in the region provide ideal growing conditions.
