BURUNDI
GATERAMA | PEABERRY | NATURAL
Cassien Nibaruta bought the Gaterama Washing Station in 2016 and used his engineering skills to build it in the most professional manner. His goal was to process solely high quality coffee and to work closely with local farmers, who grow coffee on small farms of up to 200 coffee trees. When natural-processed the cherries are sorted by hand and placed in thin layers on drying beds, which are turned every 30 minutes.
