FAZENDA SÃO LUCAS | YELLOW CATUCAÍ

Coffee has been grown on the farm Sitio São Lucas since 1976. In 2015, it became the property of Gileno Donizette, who bought it from his uncle. Sitio São Lucas stretches over almost 7 hectares of farmland, 6 hectares are used for coffee cultivation, on the remaining area he has preserved the original wild vegetation to protect birds and water springs. 3 years ago, with the help of an agronomist, Gileno started reducing the use of chemicals and mineral fertilizers. For the last harvest, he completely avoided using pesticides. Organic fertilizers have been used primarily since 2018.
