ETHIOPIA

URAGA WS | GUJI | GRADE 1

The Guji region borders the Yirgacheffe region in the west and the Sidamo region in the north. Around 700 coffee farmers deliver their cherries to the Uraga Washing Station. The parchment is dried in the sun on African beds for about 12-15 days. During the day, the coffee has to be turned over constantly to ensure an even drying process. The beans are covered from 12 to 3 pm during the day to protect them from the hot sun and rain at night.
