ETHIOPIA

ADOLA WS | GUJI | GRADE 1 | NATURAL

Adola is an Ethiopian word meaning “place of gold mining”. Surrounded by green and lush forest, an impressive topography, and huge mountains, Adola WS is a big site with a size of 1,8 hectares. Adola WS, founded in 2005 by Etenesh Asrat, is a communal wet mill in the Guji region and is located close to the town Anferara. The cherries are brought by about 850 surrounding farmers who either deliver cherries directly to the washing station, or to an Adola collection center in the more remote areas. Both washed coffees and naturals are being prepared by this washing station.
